MIT Venture Lab -- An Introduction to Angel Organizations, Thursday, March 9th

Venture Lab will wrap up its series on Angel financing by providing attendees with a personal introduction to the area’s Angel organizations.  After presenting the Angel financing world from the Angel’s perspective and the Entrepreneurs perspective last fall, the remaining element of the series is to familiarize entrepreneurs with the Angel organizations and their processes/procedures and various perspectives. 

 

Angel organizations represented will include:

Alliance of Angels

Keiretsu Forum

Puget Sound Venture Club

Seraph

Washington Technology Center (WTC) Angel Network

Zino Society

 

Representatives of these organizations will each explain their organization and share their detailed insights on how the entrepreneur can most successfully work with their organization.  They will also share some experience and examples of what worked well and what did not.

 

Format will be a PowerPoint presented by the representative from each organization followed by Q&A.

5:30 - 6:00 PM - Registration and Networking
6:00 - 8:00 PM - Presentation

Parking:
Covered parking is available in the Union Square building garage, accessible from 7th Avenue.
Tip:  arrive after 5:00pm for their $6 evening rate.

Registration:
Seminar cost will be $25.00 per attendee. In addition, the cost of parking for the evening is $6.00 after 5:00pm.  Reservations may be arranged as follows:

About MIT Venture Lab
The MIT Venture Lab is designed to optimize the entrepreneur's path to success by providing the information they need to plan, finance and operate a profitable company in today's environment.  The lab is offered in two series, each consisting of four to five workshops.  The goal of each workshop is to drill down into the details of its topic and provide the relevant information necessary to help the entrepreneur effectively get the job done.
